Prior to co-founding White-Bridge in 2009, he was the Managing Director responsible for leading ABN AMRO's (and subsequently Royal Bank of Scotland) Latin America Investment Banking Energy and Resources Team out of Houston.
Prior to joining the Houston office, he spent five years as Corporate Banking Head in Venezuela in addition to his regional role in the Energy and Resources Team for the Andean, Caribbean and Central American regions. Before his international assignments, he spent 4 years in ABN AMRO Bank Argentina and 3 years in Citigroup, always in the Energy and Resources space, both in Commercial and Investment Banking roles. Before working in the Banking sector, he spent 3 years at Arthur Andersen's Energy division in the 90's where he was an Associate in the audit teams working in the Privatization of Argentine conglomerates.
Mr Gilles holds a degree in Business Administration and Accountancy from the Universidad Católica Argentina.
